1. The Life Of God – “I am the resurrection and the life.”

A. The life of God is an abundant life

    • John 10:10

B. The life of God is a life filled with love and joy

    • John 15:9-11

C. The life of God is a life that never ends

2. Death Stands In Our Way – “Though he were dead, “

  • John 11:25

A. Without Christ we are dead in sin

    • Ephesians 2:1-3

B. Without Christ the devil is dead and so we are dead

    • 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

C. Without Christ our conscience is faulty

    • Hebrews 9:14

3. The Plan Of Faith – “He that believeth in me.”

A. We must believe in Jesus and his resurrection – The Word, Believe in the heart and confess with the mouth

B. We must have a living faith where our actions correspond

    • James 2:18

4. Jesus Conquered Death For Us All And Thereby Assures Our Salvation

A. Jesus conquered death

B. Jesus died for us

    • Hebrews 2:9

C. Jesus destroyed the power of death over our lives

D. Our guarantee is “surely as Jesus lives we shall live also”
